The Monterey Junior Lifeguard program is pleased to announce that it has received a grant in the amount of $6,000 from the California State Parks Foundation, in support of its Community Outreach Project. The project, established in 2006, aims at improving aquatic safety and the quality of coastal and marine habitats through education and interpretation.
